I lost my bird P4P with the plus controller.  I have the controller and want to use a new Phantom 4 Pro with my plus controller.

     Yes, the P4 Pro uses the same bird as the P4 Pro+ (plus).  When you get the new bird, you will have to link the new bird to the existing controller.  You would then be advised to fly for a week or so while you research how to do firmware updates.  Then you will be able to do firmware updates if you have any problems (bugs) or conflicts that need to be resolved.

     Some on this Forum will recommend that if it is not broke, do not fix it.  Others like myself, recommend that if you want to use the technology, learn how to use all of the technology the manufacturer provides and work with the manufacturer to keep your bird flying properly.
