I have been hearing that during the upcoming eclipse there could be GPS position troubles. Where I work is right on the line for the total eclipse, and I would like to try a timeline video during the event. Wondering if anyone knows if flying during the eclipse could cause a problem with the Phantom 4. I will need to be up around 200 - 250 feet up just overhead to get some good pictures.

What I have read online is way over my head, and don't really understand why. Anyone have any input?

Thanks,

You might loose 1 satellite, but as you are in the USA you should have plenty left - don't worry, we have had plenty of eclipses in the past and aircraft never get lost during them.  We almost have a solar eclipse every single month.

Great, Thanks Labroides for the link. I took me 3 years to save up the money to buy the Phantom 4, and I don't want to lose it.
Thanks Again
