I am wondering if someone can help me? I have a Phantom 4 Pro and recently did a Firmware update to V01.02.00.00 which was sucessful. But after restarting my drone it is now locked requesting I update to the Firmware version of 01.04.0602. When I try to do this via system settings> update at the bottom, after clicking on "Check for Updates" it won't open and check for updates. I have a strong internet connection. Confused?? I am fairly new at the 4 Pro and drones in general, so I apologize if this question seems trivial.

Nope it is not trivial. You can disregard the update and start flying. Did you do that?

Get a downgrade

I recommend upgrading the drone and RC to the latest firmware. The latest version for the drone is V 01.04.0602, V 1.4.1.0 for Phantom 4 Pro remote controller. If you can not get the drone's updated message, please try to upgrade it via DJI Assistant 2, here' the tutorial for your reference:
You can get the RC updated via DJI GO 4 app if it reminds you to update.
