It seems nothing has changed for Spark?

Interesting.. it says added 180 Pano shooting mode. I guess I didn’t see that earlier today when I flew around.

180 Pano was already added in 4.1.4.

Maybe another firmware update soon?

The release notes of 4.1.5 and 4.1.4 are almost identical but... they added

"Inspire 2:
Added gimbal yaw tuning."

As far as I know, that is all the difference.

Inspire 2 Gimble Yaw tuning was already noted in the 4.1.4 change log for inspire 2...  I cant seem to find any differences in the change log...

Looks like they added back "takeoff/landing" to the Fn and shoulder button options.

My guess is that the features didn't change, they just fixed some quick bugs that were introduced in 4.1.4 or didn't have time to get fixed and make it into 4.1.4.  That sort of thing is pretty common in software development when there are a lot of changes to an app. I wouldn't get too excited about it personally.

Must admit, not a fan of the 180 Pano. Took the same shot as my dramatic skies pic on here and the image quality had taken a big hit. Same altitude and everything. The image was good but quality - poor. This is the only thing thats changed since having the Spark. The GO update only had a few fixes and tweaks for Spark, Phantom and Inspire and not a major controller/craft update. Will be in 2 minds whether to do the main update seen as I have a Spark what does what it says on the tin.

Re the 180 pano - surprised the resolution is only 2300×1280  when standard resolution is 3968×2976.

I have had much better results taking the individual photos used for the  pano and putting them into freeware hugin to stitch them together and just looking at the automatically stitched together as preview only.

Going to look into some 3rd party stitching SW this weekend and compare the results. Trouble is the great British Summer has been garbage as usual this week so hardly had time to get in the air. My Spark and P4P both need an umbrella or waterproofs.

I tried a 180 pano and it produced 21 shots, each with full resolution.
I stitched in Lightroom and the resulting pano was 11549x5231 pixels. And with outstanding quality!
