I am updating my Phantom 4 Pro with v01.04.0602 86.6MB via my iPad with Verizon data.  It has been at 99% for maybe 20 minutes.  The paper airplane keeps flying.  My drone lights are 2 red and the other 2 switch between red and green every 1.5-2 seconds.  My batter has 3 out of 4 of my indicator lights solid green as well as the green light around the power button.  

I tried to be as  descriptive as possible.   Is something wrong or is this normal? I dont plan on shutting down or unplugging.  I plan on letting it work until it either completes the update or the battery dies.

Probably the verizon data plan is a bit slow, but just be patient. I had no trouble with my ipad 5th gen, but connected to my home wifi. I was done in just less than 15 minutes

After the battery completely went dead I put in a new battery and it said update was complete.  

I had the same problem bud, I think u /we were supposed to update the actual controller first, but mine only went to 99% on the bird but still seems to operate OK...

You can check the current firmware version to confirm whether update is successful or not: Launching DJI GO 4>General Settings>About
