Lately my P3P has been having a pop up show up on the DJI GO app with a Yellow triangle and the word Error. Your flight altitude & distance have been limited to 30M & 50M respectively.  Please try again after restarting.    When I click the X in the pop up box, it goes away and the unit flies fine.  My remote control is 1.8.0, which is up to date, the GO APP is 3.1.15, and is up to date, the firmware is V.1.10.0090 and is not the last update which is a July one.  My app has never called for an update.  I have seen a number of complaints after upgrading to the V01.11.0020 update.

Any ideas, or just keep clicking the X every time I fly ?

My P4 started doing this after the last app update. Like you, I just press the X and keep going.

I would recommend you upgrade drone, then reinstall the APP, sign in the APP, you will not be restricted.

Yes, being current on all update fronts, is often the best way to "Go"!!

When an update is released, there are usually fixes for the previous system concerns.
