hello friends, I've downloaded the new Assistant 1.1.6 and I've connected the PHANTOM 4 with the BETA .200 and it has warned me of the new BETA .300  I HAVE INSTALLED IT, BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN FLYING STILL.  I HOPE YOU HAVE CORRECTED THE RECORDING FAILURE IN 4K.

Is there any changelog from DJI to see what was resolved and what features it brings or do beta testers just install any new beta without any knowledge what these firmwares do fix ?

When you install Assistant on your computer you also have to install its driver.  The install package contains it.

This is not a public beta, it is only private.

Yes, I was on early beta.

There is not a changelog.

I´ve just updated. I will test this beta firmware tomorrow and bring you a feedback

So this is explicitly a camera fix? I can only prey they are just saying that to cover their backs and they have in fact tweaked flight performance. Look forward to hearing feedback.

Nobody officialy say that this beta is only for fix the 4K video reset.

It is logical that this beta fix all previous problems too.

Personally, I wouldn't trust BETA software to be the fix-it solution.... There are bugs... they are testing them to find them and work them out....

I don't make my living by the drone, so I am not as (understandably) sensitive as lots of folks are... I just see DJI as doing as well as could be expected.

Not yet, I did one with the .0200, a complete disaster in terms of flight behaviour. Even worse than the failware

I have this morning updated to the .0300 and went to a field near my home. I flew for approx 45minutes using 2 batteries, I was filming in 4k 30fps and not once did the camera reset itself. I had no issues whatsoever with this new firmware.

Usually my camera would reset after about 5 minutes and then continue to do so again after another few minutes.

The flight characteristics were very good too. I can almost say that my P4 is back to how it was before this most recent official firmware update.

I still had the IMU calibration message when the aircraft is still warming up and i get many many wind warnings. But the main issue for me was the camera resetting and the weak transmission signal errors when the P4 was close. But these have appeared to have been fixed with this .0300 beta firmware update.

So far so good. Thank you for the recent updates. I'm taking my P4 to Singapore tomorrow and i'm happy knowing that the problems have been sorted so that I can get some good footage around the city.

Hello Forum,

To carry on with his thread and for some feedback to DJI, I have now completed roughly 3 hours of flying without a single occurrence of the camera turning off or the gimbal losing power.

I am currently in Singapore this week and I have had around 6 flights without a single issue.

For me now my Phantom 4 is absolutely fine and i consider it to be fully functional without any issues.

DJI, this recent BETA has worked for me.
