I have been doing some research about the new Mavic pro props for the latest version, ie the quiet ones. Regardless of the noise reduction I wanted to see if they had more lift?
Original props= 8.3*3, the new ones are 8.3*3.1 so a fraction more lift via the pitch so there is a good reason to see if they improve output, trade off, using more energy  to get the extra thrust. It will mean there is more lift at higher altitudes, ie fly on a mountain or low density air.

Yes, apparently they do provide more lift, since DJI says that they'll (slightly) improve the flight time of even the (original) Mavic Pro, though not as much of an improvement as you'll get with the Mavic Platinum's new motors.

Yes, the new low-noise propellers have an upgrade on lift. If you fly the drone with low-noise props, motors speed will be lower than 8330 when hovering.

Yes, we just need the new probs to be available in free trade. It will not be until next year if I know DJI right.

It's worth the £30-£40 for a set if they do make an improvement on the original MP , if not then it's not a huge amount of money to lay out for some funky looking props!

I will wait till it gets in Brazil.
I believe I will buy, and try.

I am going to the Antarctic for six months with a new Mavic and goggles, There is GPS coverage but no internet unless by sat phone. will I still be able to fly the Mavic to 500m and 7km distance without connecting to the internet? I will have the latest updates before I go
