I recently purchased the "spark fly more combo" but I can not connect it (just spark it) via wifi to my various devices. It does not appear in the list of various wifi networks (eg Spark-xxxxxx)! I was able to connect and update RC but not Spark. The spark connects to the RC (green light) but not just to the device without the RC.
I tried updating AC's FW via "DJI Assistant 2" but after downloading 100% the program crashes and I have to close it.
So I can not update the FW and fly!

Are you having an issue connecting the RC with the smartphone? If so, I am also having a problem having my iPhone 7+ or 6+ detecting my RC's SSID. You will just have to turn the RC on and off until your phone finds the RC's SSID or you could just use the OTG cable and bypass the whole thing.

To do that you need to disconnect the rc.
Hold the battery button for 6 seconds until it gives two beeps (page 39 in the manual).

I have no problems with RC but only with Spark. I do not detect the AC SSID. I tried to turn on and off the Spark a few times but without success.

The RC is disconnected and switched off. I can not see the Spark SSID and then connect it via wifi to all my devices (2 Xaomi and 2 Samsung).

can it be, you have not reset the Spark-RC connection, before you tried to connect Spark-Phone/Tab?

my smartphone (Xiaomi Mi Max 2) has 3 options for wifi channels: automatic, 5 GHz only and 2.4 GHz only.
I tried all the options.

Appreciate the pilots' help above, and very glad to hear that the issue was resolved. And please note that you need to relieve the connection between the RC and drone by pressing and holding the power button for 6 second first when you attempt to connect the drone with your mobile device directly, if it still doesn't exist, a reset of the WiFi will also help.
