Hey guys I have a Dji Phantom 2 with H3-3D gimbal and gopro hero 4.  I was wondering if i need the wifi receiver that attaches to the remote to use the DJI app.  Not necessarily for the gopro to show video on my phone but to have information like the gps and altitude and all the other features that it offers.  So do i need the wifi receiver or am i just having a connectivity issue?

You need the IOsd mini, a video transmitter, and a screen to view it on.....basically an FPV setup.

You don't want to be using the GoPro wireless while flying the Phantom since they both use 2.4mhz and will cause interference. An FPV setup would use 5.8 MHz so there would be no interference.
