My P4P and DJI Go 4 app will connect ok with my iPhone 7, but will not recognize and connect with my iPad 2.

Please help!

If you check out the specs on the DJI web site for the P4P, you will find that the iPad 2 is not a recommended device. The app recognises this when installing and there for will not run.

1. Please check whether the USB data cable is malfunctioning. Check whether the data cable is connected well correctly, or try with a different cable.
2. Check whether the mobile device port is malfunctioning.
3. Check whether the DJI GO app displays abnormally. Please remove the DJI GO app and then install it again.
4. What is the iOS system version of your iPad mini 4?

I would recommend you refresh the iOS system via iTunes. Besides, the latest DJI GO 4 version is v4.1.15, please make sure it is up to date.

I do have an Ipad 2 Mini. I am having severe problems with transmission signal, aircraft disconnecting. Will an iPad 4 Mini work better?

I was all gung ho, when I got my Phantom 3 Pro home.
And soon discovered this same iPad 3 wouldn't even load the original Pilot app.

So an iPad 2 certainly is an antiquated device. Me thinks. Ha

iPad 2 or iPad mini 2?
iPad 2 is too outdated and the compatibility cannot be guaranteed, I would suggest iPad Air.
