I just don't get it DJI, ppl are complaining over iOS 11.1 seince the beta. now the official release is out and yesterday DJI GO was updated. guess what? still can't fly!
here is what i tried already:
Restore iPhone to clean new iOS 11.1
Delete DJI GO and reinstall (4.1.16)
Airplain mode
changed cable
re paird RC and Drone
and nothing!

Here is the problem:
Turn on Drone
Turn on RC
connect iPhone 7+ iOS 11.1 to RC
open DJI app - and now the problem: the app goes straight away to the camera and i can see the stream, but that's it! screen and app is not responding at all.

i know i did a mistake while tring the Public Beta iOS11.1 BUT now the official release is out and i still can't fly!

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT? i'm not the only one with this problem.

tried with my wife iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.3 and it works, so it's not Drone/RC/Cable problem.

Did you try using your iPhone charger cable plugged into the bottom usb instead of the side? Just make sure you unplug little the side cable from the RC....

Just try turning on the RC first, then tap on the DJI GO 4 app, then turn on the drone in that order. The app should now have a Start Flight on the bottom right hand side.The RC should always be the first thing you turn on.

I had reported this situation to the engineers to look into. Hope it will be addressed soon.
