Do I just download the new software and install over the old one, or remove the old software first and then install the new package?
This is for the Phantom Vison 2 Plus.
*The version before the updated Vision 2 Plus with new motors and controller.

Imackenzie03, I have IMac too.   You have to remove the v3.6 first then install the new v3.8 PT2+ software. Same thing goes for the new v1.2 RC assistant software. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Why would I need the RC assistant software? Just clarifying as I thought the PV2+ software included the RC software?

Just an option, I usually calibrate my controller using both software. I calibrate my Dial on the RC assistant.

If there is a firmware update for the RC then it can only be loaded into the RC by the RC Assistant! As the Phantom Updates can only be done by the Phantom Assistant! though while in the Phantom Assistant you can calibrate the RC but not update the firmware...
