Looked at LOTSA options. Bottom line for me on Win 7 was to spring (relatively modestly) for Adobe Premiere Elements for like $70. Looking through the extensive “free” or “freemium” options out there convinced me to spend a small bit of coin on this to do it right. I don’t anticipate outgrowing it anytime soon..

Use iMovie. Comes preinstalled on your Mac and is a great software editing tool that's easy to learn and has enough features to satisfy a new user.

For just starting out and for the price....iMovie. Loads of help out there.
Awesome thanks for the feedback ya just a noob when it comes the video shooting and editing. Also lost on my shutter speeds and all the camera settings. But slowly learning and enjoying the help from the DJI community
And if you are at the end with iMovie and look for more control over your footage, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
But for your first 3-5 years of filmmaking, iMovie will do it.
