I just updated my controller firmware to v01.03.06.00.  I have the P4P+.  After updating the controller firmware,  I updated the aircraft firmware.  It seems that the problems with the December aircraft update were fixed. However I did have a problem when I first updated the controller.  I had a message requiring my phone number - but it wanted a mainland China phone number! I restarted the controller and that went away.  But, the problem with pointing the gimble downward seems to have gone away, and pano mode was added.  I've only done tests at home, and I've not flown it yet.  I will do that later today.

I wonder if the update is just being pushed out to the P4P+ because mine says I'm current. I checked the AC with both GO 4 and Assistant 2. The RC still says unknown device in Assistant 2, so it was only checked with GO 4.

I actually went to the DJI website and downloaded the new firmware. A friend told me it was available.

I spoke too soon this morning. There are still glitches in the software. The screen still flips 180 when the gimbal is pointed down.
