I have a frined that has a Inspire 2 and we wanted to try out a second controller for operating the camera. Can I do this with the Phonatom 4 Pro remote or is there something special about the inspire remotes?

Hi, Houston, I'm afraid not. The Inspire 2 has its own remote controller, the phantom 4 pro remote is incompatible with the Inspire 2, thanks!

I just saw a video where you could use the Inspire 2 controller with the Phantom 4 pro so I thought it may go the other way as well. Oh well.

Actually it will bind with the inspire 2 but there is no landing gear lower button. You can RTH or auto land to lower gear.

R&L, good to hear, thank you. I am only wanting to use the second controller (P4P) to operate the camera. The pilot will concern himself with the landing gear.

I am in the same situation, having a spare P4A controller after the drone shut itself down mid-flight and crashed into a lake! Thought it's be good to put the controller to use on the i2.

I think the problem could be that only one remote at a time can be linked to the aircraft...
