Hi everyone,

Since i've updated my gl300e controller to the last april firmware update, i can't access offline maps functionality.

Already tried a complete reset / restore of the controller.

Help me!

We all have that problem, DJI has changed card provider and it appear that we can no longer download the maps, only the non working icon for maps management is left ...

One solution seem to be, while online scroll around the area you plan to flight in order to have the maps cached. I have no idea if it is needed to zoom in close for the details to be cached too, we have got no information of any kind regarding this change.

When traveling around with the drone and find places not cached it is just bad luck and a blank map.
Also i have had some trouble in the flight records to have it show the location even it is from a cached area and being online while entering the flight records, just keep showing "Map loading" on all the records...

It's not a solution, but a mere workaround ... DJI said nothing about the problem?

Sorry for the mistake. Please tell me the firmware of your RC. Please provide a screenshot of the situation.

Thanks for your update. Our engineers are working on that. And it will be optimized in the new firmware.

Just make it work again

If anything please have them optimize the code in general ....

Once again a need for beta testers, before releasing new software/firmware, I’m sure DJI would find a lot of us to volunteer to test new releases for them!

It's now 6 Sep 2018 and I've still not seen a firmware update.
Any news on when this will happen?

Hi All,
i have a similar problem, i have not used my p4p+ since the end of may.
When i turned it on and doing my per flight test, i found that i only have a blank map.
When i go to reload my offline maps for the uk, i only have maps for china.
is that the same type of problem you are all having or is this something different.

Mmm seems that Phantom 4 Pro Flyers have been forgotten about....

I now have a drone that I am very very cautious about flying because I can't trust the Software to be fully updated, if this isn't working what else is not up to Scratch?

Any updates or solutions to this problem?  My controller is doing the same thing.  I recently purchased it used, so I do not know the history of updates.  Your advice and expertise is welcomed.
