does anyone know how or if it's possible to stream video without the OSD information displayed?  I want to be able to add the video to other live video feeeds to a live switcher and I need it to be a clean video feed...

As configured now, no.  Sometime in the as-yet-undetermined future, yes.

From the FAQ:

7.    How does Phantom 3`s RC turn out HDMI signal (is there a USB to HDMI adapter)?
There is no USB to HDMI adapter, but later we will have a Phantom 3 HDMI output adapter.

8.    Does Phantom 3 support FPV Glass?
Later we will have adapter piece for HDMI, and it can support the device with standard HDMI protocol.
