I couldn't tell if those were nurse or bull sharks? They were probably nurse or reef sharks because the latter would be pretty dangerous to humans.

Awesome vid.
When I was shooting reef fish in Rangiroa (Pacific) I was bumped by a Black Tip.
I suppose it was attracted to the flash. Once I got over the shock, I took this snap.
The other is from the fish shoal I was in. I should have realised, the fish vanished for a reason.
Someone deliberately cut up fish to bring in the sharks...

That is general not a good sign for swimmers or divers.  Especially if you see sharks pectoral fins become rigid, prior to a grazing bump.
Told by two divemasters it is indication shark is working up to taking a bite.  The graze bump is shark seeing if prey will respond aggressive and also way of determining edibility.

Anyway, glad nothing bad became of it.

Holy mackerel, now you tell me.
The last thing on my mind was to check for erect and firm tissue.
I did read that they are rather nasty, because they have a reputation for biting, just because they can. The story goes that more people have died from their small bites (relatively small) than Great Whites.
Of course, I knew none of this at the time and tried to swim after them for a better shot.
They are very sensitive to flash photography it seems. I had been flashing the reef to get some colour. That is why there are big white blobs in the image. Detritus reflecting back the light.
Then it hit me. No Fish. Sharks. Time to go.
It is times like that when you wish you had eyes where your ears are, so you can see what is following or coming at you.

From at least my encounter, it only takes a glance at pectorial fins.  No need for touching.
Instead of fins being free moving in water, their fins become like wings of jet fighter moved to manuveribilty (swept forward).

Great video.
That's what I call getting up close and personal but staying safe.
If only you had the Mavic Gannet Bait Release for fishing on the Mavic.
It would of been the catch of the day.
