we travelled to the peak district, UK one morning to shoot this little story. I'll share some of the techniques below:
- first drone clip shot in 4K and rotated in post
- dronie shot (far to close) was shot from close to far and reversed in post
- I tried to get close to objects to make it more cinematic - the ridge forward shot and the gap in the rock (obstacle avoidance off)
- orbit done manually for better control/wider angle
- parralax effect used in ridge forward shot, shot in 4k and image cropped from large to small throughout clip
Very nice film! Any advice on learning to sync video speedups / slowdowns with the music? Does Final Cut or Premier make this easier (I'm using iMovie only at the moment...)? Thanks.

Hey man, I think it's possible with iMovie but it's dead simple in final cut Pro
