Hello there.
I am experiencing an issue which seems to be more like a "function" with my I2. I have a project to shoot in a tight canyon in the mountains where is no GPS coverage. I am taking-off in ATTI mode and that damn thing restricts me to 30m height. No way to do my job that way. There are few locations that are more like tunnels and the director of the movie wants on exiting from inside to go high (100-150m), but it doesn't allows me to. I have Signed out and after that Logged in my DJI account, I have switched off all the positioning, vision sensors and still it restricts me. Come on DJI that is a JOKE. I have latest firmware on pilot and cam operator Cendences and Crystalskys and 01.01.0300 for the Inspire 2.
Come on DJI, give me a solution. I am on 30 days movie project with most of the locations without GPS coverage. Can't work like that. Tomorrow I need to fly again at the same location and this is not a flight it looks more like a 30m. jump

Hello there. We apologize for the inconvenience. Did you check under the Main controller settings if the Beginner's mode was disabled? Did you also check what is the maximum flight distance and altitude?

Height limit is 200m.-300m. I can not find a beginners mode button in my app

I have enabled flight distance and still get the warning "Max flight altitude reached" at 30m. when I have weak GPS signal. What is causing that? Today was another lost shooting day. Come on, come up with working solution DJI

Can you reinstall the app? Then re-login again.

According to the Inspire 2 manual:


That means, no matter what flight mode he is in (because of low sat count or health), DJI's firmware restricts the aircraft to exceed the limit of 8 or 50 m (depending on VPS on or off)

OP, there are following options you have:
- DJI must lift the restriction for your aircraft within a decent timeframe (hours or at least days).
- Try yourself to modify some parameters in the firmware
- Use a GPS repeater to increase the GPS health at launch at your location.
- Operate a different brand of aircraft.
