Im a big fan of DJI products and am wondering why they haven’t come out with a full motion control slider. How hard would it be to adapt the Ronin S to a motorised slider for video and still photography . I’ve been looking at the Edelkrone Slider Plus and the Syrp Geenie 2 but know that DJI could do an even better job at a cheaper price.  So DJI I’ve kicked things off with a name “CamBot” let’s see if we get a good response and demand for such a beast.

Cheers

I second this.

It really seems like a golden opportunity for DJI (and any manufacturer of 3-axis gimbals).

A 3-axis head + plus motorised slider from Edelkrone can set you back around 3600 euro (for the most expensive combo).

The new Moza Slypod can be combined with their Moza Air 2 for a combined slider + multi-axis setup. Seems *really* cool and more or less what I would like to see from DJI. Some downsides to the Moza Slypod seem to be the short distance of the slide (~28CM) and apparent low speed of the slide.

Would also be cool for DJI to partner up with a slider-manufacturer for a setup like this.
