Added option to set zoom speed for Sony cameras (requires Ronin app v1.1.6 or later).
Added 3D Roll 360 feature. Enable 3D Roll 360 in the control settings of the Ronin app. The gimbal can switch between upright and flashlight modes by pressing double tapping the trigger. Rotate the gimbal roll axis using the joystick. Note: only motor parameters, system calibration, and pan axis control settings can be set in 3D Roll 360.
Added Auto Roll 360 feature. When the gimbal is in Flashlight mode, assign roll axis control to channel 3, and push the joystick quickly left or right twice to enable Auto Roll 360. The gimbal rotates continuously without needing to hold the joystick. Double tap the trigger to stop Auto Roll 360. Note: Auto Roll 360 only works when 3D Roll 360 is disabled.
Added camera parameter settings for Panasonic GH5 and GH5S cameras (requires Ronin app v1.1.6 or later).
Added photo capture, video recording, autofocus, and focus pull support for Nikon Z7 cameras with supported lenses. To use autofocus on the Nikon Z7, press halfway down on the gimbal’s camera control button.
Added photo capture, video recording, autofocus, and focus pull support for EOS-1D X Mark II cameras with supported EF lenses. To use autofocus on the EOS-1D X Mark II, press halfway down on the gimbal’s camera control button.
Added option to disable the selfie mode that is activated when the trigger is pressed three times (requires Ronin app v1.1.6 or later).
Added auto-focus function (half-press REC button) for Panasonic GH3 and GH4 (requires RSS-P cable).
Fixed the occasional issue when using shutter control for Canon 5D Mark IV cameras where the camera froze.
Fixed the occasional issue when using shutter control with an HDMI monitor for Panasonic GH5 and GH5S cameras where the gimbal stopped working.
Fixed other minor bugs.
Notes:
Ensure that the Ronin App is the latest version when updating the firmware.
Leave the Ronin-S turned off and update the firmware through the DJI Pro Assistant for Ronin by connecting the USB-C port on the Ronin-S to your computer. Then proceed with the firmware update. Do not disconnect the gimbal from the computer while updating.
After the update is complete, unplug the USB-C cable from the Ronin-S and proceed to turn on the gimbal.
If the Ronin-S has a camera attached and is turned on while updating the firmware, make sure to protect the camera and lens as the motors will shut off during the update.
If the firmware update fails, restart the Ronin-S and retry.
Auto Roll I get it. But 3D 360? Why the 3D? I think its because we can walk as it rolls but the same could be done with Auto Roll and it doesnt have the 3D name on it. Maybe Both cases becoming a standard feature as opposed to us setting it up to achive it, as it should be from the begining so just a convenience and not a real new feature?
Dont know. Would like to know more.App is not available yet so I cant test it. Even tough, I'd have to figure it out how it should work?
Dnorton, sorry that Nikon D800 can still only be physically and stabilized on the Ronin-S, we are developing USB shutter control, please note the future update.
Hi there, Nikon D810 can only be physically and stabilized on the Ronin-S, we are developing USB shutter control and more features, please note the future update. Thank you.
I did some tests yesterday and it seems that everything works perfectly. And with the new Nikkor S lenses the focus is extremely quiet and fluid.
Today I also try the APP improvements.

for some funny reason, I've only seen FW 1.06.00.48 and not .50 as indicated above.. any ideas? Ronin App still can't read gimbal FW to confirm..
Hi there, that is strange, please follow the steps in Notes, if the issue persists, please post a screenshot here, thank you.

Hi Famagusta, I understand your expectation of the Fuji camera, but it is a cooperation business of two manufacturers, we do not have any news if they could be compatible, your request has been forwarded to our engineers, please note our website about the future update, thank you.

Hi, is it just using usc-c to 8pin cable for these function ? thank you
Thank you for your hard work DJI Devs! The FW update was smooth and painless - and the new features works good for me!
Just for the sake of beating on a dead horse haha - I hope this freed up some resources for you to develop support OR a work-around for that pesky Sony focus pull feature

Mindy, I almost hate to ask, but I don't see any fix listed for the well documented Ronin-S and GH5 problem. (i.e. motors dying or the gimbal beating up our GH5 when connected via USB).

Any idea if this has been fixed?
