I'm videoing a boat race which is just outside my local town. I'd like to get some low level shots from there perspective almost  and I'm talking just a couple of foot from the water. Is vision positioning going to have a fit and send the phantom into the water? I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I could actually turn this feature off.

Any thoughts?

You can turn it off.

click on Mode in the upper right hand corner if the main screen. Go to Advanced Settings. The last setting is Enable Vision Positioning System.

Most settings require the drone to be powered on to be applied.
