• APAS 3.0 and FocusTrack are not available while recording in 4K at 60, 50, and 48 fps, 2.7K at 60, 50, and 48 fps, or 1080p at 120 and 240 fps.
• Tripod mode is 11mph, far too fast for any type of cinematic turns or flying thru or over objects with confidence.
• Auto focus, auto aperature, no sharpness or image controls
• While the Mavic Air 2 can export 8K time-lapse videos, not all of the video modes support 8K at launch
• No tripod mode for Hyperlapse feature
  

The main reason for not buying i can see is

1) if you're in Europe.  Its not CE class certified so will be severely restricted in use in 2 years time.  Far better off waiting.

2) No ADSB-In outside the USA.  Not overly useful but the same price for less features is bad business.

I cant see what you mean by wanting tripod mode for hyperlapse.  Surely it just works like the M2 where you select a speed and off it goes?  What is "tripod mode" for hyperlapse?

You can produce any resolution hyperlapse you want if you make your own from the RAW files.

You're not going to get adjustable aperture on a mid-level consumer drone.  Too heavy, too fiddly (and on the MA2 sensor size, not worth it).

So let’s see I have everything from inspires to enterprises with FLIR cameras and honestly for the price it’s not terrible. For what you get for your money it’s more than likely worth it I ordered one so I’ll see I guess but honestly I think for somebody just looking to have a decent drone with a decent camera and a (step up from the Gen1 air, mini) I don’t really see a reason to hate on it not everybody can afford $1,000+ dollar drones. If you have better Options I’m all ears

To my best knowledge it is fixed focus (which is a good if you ask me)

another reason not to buy that drone is the incompatibility with dji goggles and skycristal let us show you annoyance at dji for not including the goggles in mavic air 2

I think tripod speed is adjustable?

DJI you would have me throwing my credit card at you if:  you can buy the drone with no controller,  it was certified to fly in europe and not to become a training drone like my Mavic 2 will be in 2 years time, I thank you
