Hi,
during my last two flights with my new Mavic Air 2, a warning message popped up on the screen, saying that the Gimbal is overheating.

The message also recommended to check the Gimbal for foreing objects that might block the movement. Of course the protective cover was removed...

During the second flight I didn't move the Gimbal at all but even then the message popped up.

Anyone having the same problem? When I was hovering the drone in front of me, I couldn't see anything and could move the Gimbal without any issues.

Hi Elvizz666, may we verify it is Gimbal Overheated or Gimbal Overloaded?

I'm getting  Gimbal Overheated also.  This is a new unit and it's only been flown on two days.  It did it on the very first flight and the others that day.  Tried it again today and it's doing it again.  The video it produces while this is happening has a strange wavy motion, unusable.

Hi Mindy,

Gimbal overload, not overheat.
My fault

OK, I managed to solve the problem by using this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jEkMR-U09Q

Even though the tip is for the Mavic Air 1, it also helped in my case.
I just did 2 flights and the overload error didn't show up.
