I have shot the 360 spere pano with DJI Mini 2. In DJI Fly app it is displayed as nice tiny planet view (which I can even click and look around).

I would really like to share the tiny planet view via e.g. WhatsApp, but when I use the share option, the image is exported as an equirectangular form, not the tiny planet.

Is there an option I am missing?

Not sure if it should be otherwise.
Never used the share feature.

only way I know you could do that is screen record it then send the video but there may be better ways so ill keep an eye on this post.

Well, I did not expect it to be a video. I'd like to get just a JPG file with the tiny planet (static) view.

The "Planetical" app on Android works well for this.  Just select the equirectangular image, make sure there is no cropping, and set "blur" to zero.
