Is there somebody who has experience with the ronin SC using RavenEye in combination with a Canon 80D?
I understand I can combine liveview and camera control with gimbal functions?

I use a 90D and a RSC2- so they should be roughly similar.

Yes you can use the live view and raven eye  eg: a Tablet or phone
If you have the latest version of the app you will get all the controls on the touch screen - including roll and focus motor

Due to covid I haven't got  to test in out in the field much yet (I mainly got it for filming kart racing with the camera controlled remotely from the control tower)
But I've definitely had some teething issues with dropouts and app weirdness/errors and interference.

It will depend a lot how you want to use it - I would recommend trying first if your camera place has one for hire.

I was however specifically interested in Ronin SC users, since there would be some restrictions on the SC.

Interesting application you have, though
Sorry to hear that you have interference. Perhaps too long a distance?
