Last weekend I was in Ieper (Belgium) with some friends (I did not take the drone, as we would be in the city most of the time), but the P2 did come along.
We visited a place where you can ride inside a replica WW1 Mark IV tank.
Very nice to do (and nice to have the P2 to document it)

I totally would love this.

Ahh.  Couldn't tell from the video,  originally they were metal but they had a lot of breakages so I was wondering if they had made the replica with rubber to be more practical.    I did like how it was remote control.   Did you do any trenches there?

They found an original piece of track and it fitted theirs
No, just here on the grass.
Yeah, we were not allowed to drive it ourselves, but this was a lot of fun already.
I kept thinking about a DJI drone on steroids.....

Yeah, that's too bad about the NFZ.  At least you have the P2 that you can use again (or maybe the P3 will be out before you go again).

Who knows.
Not that I really need something new right now.
Unless it has a bigger sensor I think I'm good with the P2.

Funny coincidence. During this weekend, we also visited a local brewery (no P2 footage from there )
and that was one of the things that kept the spirit high of the allied forces.
'Dreaming'.
This brewery is located in one of the 'Kazematten' from WW1 and it was exactly there that they printed a small 'newspaper' with dreams and funny stories to boost moral in the trenches.

The only 'issue' was the Belgium guide that was also drinking and his accent got worse during the tour.
But it was a ton of fun.

It most def. was very cool!

It was a great idea to grab the Pocket 2 with you to that trip. Certainly an impressive piece of machinery, would be fun to ride one myself too. Also liked the mini RC version, I think my big brother would go nuts if he got one of those (he is a RC enthusiast). Thanks for sharing this fun video! :-)
