I bought a used M2P for a steal of a price and you have to use Go 4 App for that drone.  Otherwise I use the Fly App for Mini 2 and MA2.  The Fly App seems to be a "dumbed down" version.  Just my 2 cents.

I may be new at this but they do not appear to be the same controller.  Maybe you may get a firmware update and they are compatible but clearly M3 smart controller supports O3. Increased range and in some of the buttons definitely look are different.

I hope you are correct because the price jump from $2199 to $4999 for the controller, 1TB ssd and 2 batteries is crazy.

yes, there is the same reference about Ocusync V2 in the french version of specs for the basic model

I saw where the Fly App will be for the Mavic 3.  Lots of negative comments on YT videos about lack of camera control for Mavic 3 using the DJI Fly App.  I was all set to buy the Mavic 3 Standard but with DJI writing an IOU for Active Track 5.0 and Master Shots I decided to not buy at this time.  I just don't trust them adding those functions at a later date.

That would be horrible if they don't.  The the air2s would be officially the best model.

As of now the Smart Controller V1 does not support the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine

I do like the Air 2S and it is a beast compared to the Mini 2.  However, I think I'll be spending a bit more of my free time diving vice flying my drones so maybe its a good thing I didn't immediately buy the Mavic 3.

yeah maybe it's time to take a break away for drones and focus on another hobby.  for me that would be guns.

absolutely.  i live in a free state so i have the benefit to buy (and make) sbs, sbr, and suppressors in addition to the regular stuff.  i have a small collection (in this day and age that means under 50 pieces) and let's just say i have zero need to buy another round of ammo ever again for the remainder of my lifetime (thanks to 44).  sadly i have neglected pretty much the entire collection which has taken a backseat to drones (and motorcycles and work).  i will admit it's hard to look away from the drone stuff because you can quickly fall behind and i've spent many years just trying to catch up.  my latest passion is learning and improving post using davinci resolve and we know how endless that can turn out.  so much to do, so little time.

I have it and its going back. Its a beautiful picture but I get more and more frustrated that they could ship a drone without active track or MasterShots. My mini2 has them... its not new technology but it is one of the things that make the drone help make footage look amazing.

They definitely rushed this drone so they could sell it during Christmas. They should give everyone $600 discount to buy now and not being able to use our drones at their fullest.
