I was really concerned of the quality of this sensor and lens.
And of course it's not at the same level as the main one.
The lack of manual options frustates everyone.

BUT!
The shots you can make are very useable.
And if DJI implements D-Log and manual settings this drone will be wayyyy more useful.

At the end I was impressed with the quality and it's usefulness.

Beautiful sequence really does show the potential of this lens.

I have three questions for you if that is ok?

• Have you or anybody else tried any thirdparty sharpening on the 7x tele video? I don't know much about video but in the stills space there are some quite remarkable softwares that can increase apparent image sharpness
• I'm talking stills now. Have you ever tried to stitch a grid of images with the 7x lens to make a higher resolution still image possibly even surpassing the main camera?
• Is this on the oval or round 7x version of the lens?
