What's New?

• Added photo capture, video recording, camera settings, autofocus, and focus pull support for Sony A7M4 cameras with supported E mount lenses using Multi-Camera Control Cable (USB-C). To use autofocus on Sony A7M4, press halfway down on the gimbal camera control button.
  

Notes:

• Motor parameters are reset after updating firmware. Make sure to autotune DJI RS 2.
• Make sure that the DJI Ronin app is the latest version when updating the firmware.
• Update the firmware using the DJI Ronin app by connecting the DJI RS 2 via Bluetooth. Do not disconnect the DJI Ronin app and DJI RS 2 during the update process.
• Update the firmware for the DJI RavenEye Image Transmission System using the DJI Ronin app by connecting the RavenEye via Wi-Fi. Do not disconnect the DJI Ronin app and DJI RavenEye Image Transmission System during the update process.
• If DJI RS 2 has a camera attached and is powered on while updating the firmware, make sure to protect the camera and lens as the motors will power off during the update.
• If the firmware update fails, restart DJI RS 2 and retry.

Check if steadycam option is diseable inside Rs2's menu mine run normally with 1.5.0

no problem with this last 1.5.02 firmware on A7S3 .

I updated my Ronin RS2, but I'm still with some problem with Sony a7iv and Ronin RS2! Almost everything works fine... But when I change the shutter with front dial, the numbers are crazy! Doesn't work well! I tried with another cameras (a7iii and a7c) and everything is OK... But with a7iv everything is crazy!

i think you should downgrade again your firmware, off then turn on your gimbal. try again update the latest firmware, my RS2 doing great job with A7iv without any bugs. But for me my problem is got some jerk when using it at tilta ring. I dont have any idea about this problem. Anyone ?

Hum... I tried again and the issue is the same.. Do you know how I can downgrade my Ronin rs2? Or run a factory reset?

I think the most stable firmware is 1.003 version. You try downgrade it first. And reset all setting before you upgrade firmware again. The step to reset setting you can watch at youtube or google. If this issue still happen, i strongly suggest to you bring your gimbal to DJI centre to diagnose. Thats all i can help you brother. Hope it solve

Seems this is ‘’normal’ behavior with the A7IV. I upgraded as well to have the same ‘freak out’ issue on aperture and shutter. Strangely enough both work fine controlling via ronin app control

I sent my Ronin rs2 to have the lock on the Pan fixed, it came back in 4 days, which was amazing, however I can't get my ronin RS2 to connect with my Android to calibrate now, any suggestions?

So I’m fine with not using the dial function for the shutter or aperture, however I do want to use the app to take pictures remotely. When I switch to taking pictures it sounds like it’s taking them but when I check the sd card, there’s nothing there. Why won’t it take pictures in pc remote mode? A7IV and RS2 latest firmware

"Firmware Update Failed". Halfway through the update it failed. The gimbal is stuck on 79% and I can't turn it off of do anything. Should I disconnect the battery? I'm worried about bricking it. Any advice?
Update: I disconnected the battery grip. Restarted the gimbal and it started fine, continued the firmware update from where it left off and now it's all good.

Why in the earth you can't fix micro jitters and wobble with Sony A7RIII combined with 35 mm 1.4 from Sigma which is compatible on your notes.

WASTE OF MONEY! DJI RS2 IS TRASH!

I bought one RS2 one year ago. I never used it because it does not work with the FX6.
This thing is the worst thing made by DJI since the Crystalsky
After 1 phantom, 1 Inspire Pro and 2 Mavics, my opinion is made: DJI is no more a professional company, I give up.

Sad they are not following blackmagic road. Just got firmware update with a better menu, and gyro data in camera from 2019 ...

Actually, I need more an update to have something that works, in order to be able to use it, instead of a better menu
As for the RS3 or worst the 4D, I hope good luck to the crazy people who have bought these things.

Yes, this... because of the deadband and speed options failing.  
I'm sticking with 1.04.00.20

To Downgrade...
When connected to the DJI app, press and hold the current firmware version display for 10 seconds.
You will now see the previous FW options... tap the version you want to downgrade to.

How can I update my tethered handle? The buttons dont match the functions of my rs3 pro (focus motor / lidar )

Hello everyone i am a new user of RS2 pro combo  i am using it with my canon 5D mark3 and canon 60D. While i am in video mode when i press the start stop record button it does not record instead takes a photo only press hold the button any way to activate it or someone else having same problem with canon. On the dji website it says the start stop button works for my model but it is not happening
