Hi all… I live in the uk , very rural, no trees, full line of site to the horizon. I am getting signal drop out at around 1000m. Heard of other cases in built up areas extra, but this is not right…. Have I got a faulty one, or is this the normal thing. If so I think I may return it, as it’s nowhere near as described.

There was a poll on this forum and it appears it is about a 50/50 split on those with issues and those without issues.  I haven't seen the issue so I guess I'm one of the luck ones.  

DJI hasn't acknowledged this as a problem so I don't know if a firmware update will fix it or not.  

However, if you are in a rural area with no obstructions and holding the controller with the front facing the drone you should definitely get more than 1000m.  

Yes it is an issue with the mini 3.  I have spent an entire week researching these issues on YouTube and the web. It’s not fixable so just return it and go with a different brand or model.
