Hi Moshe, Mavic 3 supports HLG 10 bit HDR BT.2020 and D-Log 10bit rec.709 , why would you need Normal color profile recording in 10 bit depth (if that is what you mean) instead of Normal recording in 8 bit depth as it is today? Fyi Mavic 3 Cine supports recording Normal color profile recording 10 bit depth when using ProRes 422 codecs and to be honest it is inferior to HLG or D-Log. Not sure if you have Mini 3 Pro, but the end result is the same as if you recorded D-Cinelike on Mini 3 Pro in 4k 60fps, which is 10 bit color. In any case Mavic 3 Cine already supports this in ProRes 422 and the end result is not much different than if it were 8 bit color. I mean yes you can get color gradients in the sky and clouds, but in terms of dynamic range since this is not a log profile, you are getting a range similar to what Normal 8 bit offers with slight improvement due to 10 bit color on M3Cine. Wanted to ask you why you wouldn't want to use HLG or D-Log , which are by far superior to what you are asking for. Hope this helps. Thanks, Mike. |
