Greetings! The DJI Mimo App is now crashing and failing to launch since the Android August security update. Versions 1,7,24  DJI fly, Lightcut Pro crash also. Please advance!

Samsung A71 with Android 12 latest update. Wife's also Samsung A71. She hasn't updated for the latest Android version, all DJI apps work fine. So it seems to be the problem with the Android 12 latest security update crashing the DJI apps! Unfortunately I'm not able to downgrade the for a previous Android version..., can not use my drone, pocket2, and DJI editor app with my phone.

Please forward this request to the IT guys...they should work out the comparability issue with Android ASAP, and release functioning versions for all DJI apps on your website.

Thousands of customers, perhaps a few days later, a  tens of thousands, will be having the same issue Worldwide. Because, many of the smartphones will automatically update for Android 12.

For The dji fly i updated and worked.

But for dji Mimo not. Even updating...

Same for me. After I have returned from my vacation my DJI Mimo just crashes on every attemp to start the app.
It is crashing both WITH and without a device attached to the phone.
It worked fine before that and also while I was on my vacation in July.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy A52
Android version: 12
EDIT: I found that both my DJI Mimo and my DJI Fly are crashing.
So while my Pocket 2 is still usable since it can run without the mimo app, then my drone is worthless as it is now.


EDIT2:
Installed newest DJI Fly (1.6.10) and DJI Fly now works. But still not DJI Mimo after updating to newest (1.7.24)

Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G . Mimo App kann nicht gestartet werden V 1.7.24

Google pixel 6 pro used the om5 for the first time last week went to use again today and all I get is app crashes
Not the best of starts how long until we get an update to fix the issue

As I already mentioned I have already updated the Fly app and got that to work.

I got that u have updated it. The link that i sent above is for V 1.6.8, if interested....

Just tested on my wife's phone she has the s20 fe and it works on that but not on the pixel 6 pro

Any news to fix and use dji Mimo app?

I have the same crashing at launch issue with DJI MiMo on a Google Pixel 4a 5g with Android 12 ans the August security update.
I use the latest version of MiMo 1.7.24.
Any update will be a good thing.

I just bought the Dji Pocket 2, and I managed to use it for one day after that, unable to launch MIMO on my Galaxy Flip 3. Please fix the MIMO app as soon as possible. I also have an update on my phone and I believe that after the update, the MIMO app stops working right away. I hope you will get a working app soonest possible for your users. Thanks.

The link you are showing is for 1.6.8 but is really giving you 1.6.10 (newer)...I have the newest.
