Typical Johnny reply, had you even taken a moment to watch a wee fraction of it it you will see that its not what you say it is, but seen as the video is beyond your scope, here is a brief moment by moment...

Drone takes off to background music through low laying cloud (aka fog) and ascends above the fog and keeps going up and up and up, then the drone stops ascending and has a look around, then the video ends.

Is it safe to use the Mini 2 in fog, with such high humidity present? I have been tempted, but don't like to risk ruining my Mini 2's electronics from excess moisture in the air.

maybe a long flight would damage it. but the fog was about 100 meters thick. I flew up to a total height of 300 meters. I think the limit is 500 meters.

I've heard people flying above the clouds / above fog who could not descend because the Downward Vision Sensors thought it was ground below. Of course it requires pretty thick fog but in any case I'd disable those sensors before flying in fog:

That seems unlikely to me. Rather, it can happen right above the water.
