The update works great.
FCC stil works
The camera Exposure / dynamic range is a lot better, not these over dark shadows anymore, very nice
50 fps for EU, finaly there

and the best thing...... 10 bits in log, perfect.

For the people that fly with the di.do, when you fly indoor and fly over a table the Avate still goes to slow over these kind of objects, you fly a fix speed and when a table comes in your path and you fly over it ( as a example ) the Avata breaks/crawl over the table, not useble for indoors. so you have to fly manual with the remote.

Do you have the RID error warning on screen?
(due to the remote ID in the US, but you use FCC mode, i use FCC mode aswell but have not updated everything yet)

I about to be a happy owner of the DJI Avata today. Any tips you can give?

Dont do any updates. Not sure if this is a bug. You'll get a Remote ID error after the Goggles 2 update.  After the goggles 2 and Avata connect you get a remote id error. It only goes away if you connect the goggles to your phone with a cable and DJI Fly running. If you disconnect the cable the remote id error comes back and will not allow you to fly.  Hundreds of people on YouTube have confirmed this is happening to them as well.  Rolling  back gets rid of the error but then the drone does not let you start the propellers to take off.

Tip… fly and enjoy it, fcc is the best, Eu is useless.

Yes thats the law and only in the US.
Strange thing is that i use the FCC hack here in the EU and do not have any problems, do not need the phone
Later it wil como to the EU to.
The great update is the 10bits and better handling with shadows etc.

It also does fly better, and when you stop suddenly it does not break so aggressive anymore, happy

But do you have the RID warning in the right bottom corner?
I have seen messages on youtube from EU users stating this (when using the FCC Hack), but they are able to take off as you said.

I hope DJI wil come up with a solution not needing the cable to the phone by the time the EU has the same rules.

It's not an error, it's the new requirements in the United States
