Hello, I just received a certified refurbished Avata from Best Buy in the last 24 hours. When entering in my Avata's SN to purchase DJI Care Refresh, I receive the following message: "The service cannot be purchased as your product activation time has expired."  I was assuming I would be able to add DJI Care without issue. Is this not the case? Is it really necessary to record a video? Thanks in advance for your help.

DJI Care Refresh can be bound to your DJI product when it meets one of the following criteria: Brand new and un-activated product; Aircraft or gimbal activated within the last 48 hours; If the product does not meet the above conditions, please contact DJI Support and send the product back or apply for video verification. DJI Care Refresh can be purchased within 72 hours after the verification is passed and you receive a purchasing notice. https://repair.dji.com/en/djicare/customerupload

Thanks for the reply Mindy. I've read the criteria but was under the impression that a certified refurbished drone would be considered brand new. Is this not the case?

May I ask when did you activate the drone? DJI Certified Refurbished Products require activation before first use. You can check the activation time through this link. https://service.dji.com/active/search
