Hi I saw some where about a new motors for the P3P and P3A coming soon. I am just about to order my P3 but I want to make sure I get the Newest motors Is it True?
how do I kmow if it has the new motor?
should I wait a few weeks to order?

Didn't you buy those new motors when you repaired your CSCed P3?

I love mine. They used to be normally aspirated. Now they're turbo-charged and although the actual motor rpms are only about 12,000, the turbos themselves must be running close to 64K.

no, the only things that got damaged in the crash were the gimble and the landing gear. landing gear i have replaced and i will wait for the prices to drop on gimbles. meanwhile i have been using this one to practice and experiments!! Flying without a camera and using the map helps hone in some skills!! like guessing if you are high enough not to hit trees!

BTW, how would i know if on any of my P3Ps i have the new motors??

It will say "new motor," on the back of the motor.

Maybe I "reeled you in" on that one!

The reference to "normally aspirated" and the "turbo" speed has nothing to do with Phantoms and everything to do with old/new rules for Formula 1 - gotcha!

My Phantom 3 is working fine - it's my Chroma that's off to the quad-doctor!
