I was doing some work today around Belfast area and didnt had time to get the clearance to fly inside Authorization zone ( last minute job ).
Thought I'd try my luck with 7x tele from far away even that the wind was 12kt with 23knt gusts.
Didnt expected to be that stable in those conditions.
Im quite pleased

Did you or someone else have another drone up?
Is that from the cycle path along side the M5 or perhaps the Whitehouse-Lagoon/Gideons-Green? The cycle path is outside the zone ..... isn't it?
As a kid I saw 250,000 ton tankers come out of H&W, now .... :-(
Seen from the Co. Antrim coast line they blocked out a fair proportion of the Co. Down hills.

I was at the Hazelbank Park area... yeah its quite a distance from the zone itself.

Booming Nora that's some distance and some camera.
What about the other drone?
EDIT I've just realised that what I thought was a drone might be a plane going into the airport which is even more impressive, it's probably 5 miles away.
For anyone that doesn't know the area the mountains in the background are, I think, the Mournes and 30+ miles away.

Yes thats ATR 72-600 - Aer Lingus and these are indeed Mournes in the distance

good job, once you have reasonable good light it can be very useful.

Curious how easy it was to get permission to fly near the park,  Ive put off upgrading my Mavic 2 Pro for the 3 due to the limits with the weight we now have in the UK.

Despite the winds that is some amazing footage.

Easier if you have A2 CofC and Insurance... hope you have these already.
