I am not sure why but I can't seem to keep a good signal antything after 1/4 mile.  It says I have 16 satelights and I am in a pretty open backyard.  Is there somthing I can do to improve the flight range?

Do you have a P3S?  Do you have your antennas positioned correctly? Or you u loosing the signal to/from the controller or to/from your display device?

I was losing RC signal (and video) at about 1800 ft out, I bought one of those "windsurfer" parabolic boosters...it helped with the RC signal, but the video seems worse...possibly an App issue with the video though

With the booster, I had it out to about 2500 ft today...still had full control and good RC signal, but the video and app were almost useless

Check you HD transmission settings slide it to the lowest.

Not me. Went out 4500 feet. couldn't see the bird but it was line of sight so to speak between me and the brid the whole way. Video was perfect. stills sharp. and in total it went 9200 feet on one battery with 10% left when it landed. Just the built in rabbit ears that people say don't work well. Hummmmm.

I'm wondering if it might be an "interference" thing...the College right near my house has a really strong T1 wi-fi...I can actually pick it up in the back of my house.  I have gotten some messages on the app when flying that actually say "strong interference" but the signal bars on the screen don't diminish at all...hmmm

I'm in a rural area, clear skies, and I couldn't go more than a half mile tops before it said it was loosing signal and the video was cutting out
