Was considering getting this - but now noticed there are "import duties" (which appear to be tax?) Didn't that used to be included with purchases/built into the cost? Now it bumps up the price by an additional 10-15% (depending where you are) when I go to check out... How do I get it just to the regular price (i.e., only $519 USD price)?

Typically the duties and taxes are included in the price. I do not think it has changed.I just checked on the Canadian web site and it looks like the prices are including duties and taxes.

Are you saying your are getting the price to include all of that, when in canada? (For me, it charges it additionally). Thanks

Alberta. The taxes are 5% and built in to the price. You Ontarians are getting the shaft!

lol seems like it... I'm almost tempted to ask I can ship it to you, then you ship it to me, because that's an extra $100 CDN ($75) in just "taxes"...

BTW - have you ordered "recently" (i.e., after april 2022)? If I change to an alberta address right now - it looks like tax is still be added (and is no longer included in the purchase price of a product)...

I stand corrected. The Tax was added after the fact. Most recent order here.
