Quick guide for m4pro+RC2 & Goggles2+Motion2 owners (tested 24.02.24): (may apply to other models)

You have the RC2 and also the Goggles.

You want to switch from one to the other. (pairing hint (which is a different topic): long press helps achieve pairing, also on the aircraft)

[not using bound device] error is scary but don't worry.

Flying without binding is a problem in 2 scenarios:

-for DJI Care (!crash report will be missing if u crash!)

-after 5 flights: YOU HAVE TO UNBOUND + BOUND the other controller

How to unbound - bound: Internet required

RC2 is my default Controller. I don't care about DJI refresh.

If I want to use the Goggles more than 5 times:

1)       Turn ON everything

2)       Connect Smartphone with cable to Goggles

3)       Open DJY Fly app with Internet

4)       Profile->Device mgmt. -> Value-Added -> Unbind Device

5)       Bind the Goggles

REVERSE: bind RC2:

1)       Turn ON m4p + RC2 with Internet (mobile data hotspot if you’re in the wild)

2)        RC2 will automatically show the option [Change Bound Device]

Voilà!

Thanks for the quick point form, I do the same thing, leave the RC2 bound, and put up with the popup! But if I had some big goggle flying day in the backcountry planned, I might just bind the mini 4 to the goggles for the day
