Despite the weather not being very cooperative in February you were still able to capture some amazing shots.  Great job on putting this collection together DA.

thanks DT.   I said in January but I think February was actually a hard month,   it didnt help that Ive been a bit under the weather this month.

Thanks Mr B.    I said it last month but I think February was harder than January.     I did my first couple of shots for https://www.geograph.org.uk yesterday though,  thats been on the todo list for a while.  Although they dont make it fast to upload them.

Back in the day, when the idea was new, we were all out there vying to be the first to bag as many "First Geograph" squares as possible.  I was pretty high up the leaderboard for a while. Then we emigrated

I didnt realise that was a thing,   I thought it was more of archive for photos to form some sort of historical archive.  

Edit:

I did learn one thing,  the pub that I was going to post some shots of the big refurb they are doing, is going back to the orginal colours,   it was white and its going cream just like it was over 20 years ago. I wouldnt have known that unless for the site.

Well, like they say, "every cloud has a silver lining", so we just need to find it in these bad weather situations.

Drowning in rain today,  got up at 4:30am looked out to rain and thought oh well at least the forecast was correct,  whilst I was in the shower sunrise was glorious red and pink and no rain,  and now torrential rain again,    took me an hour to queue to the shops which should take <10 minutes to drive.    Then the same back again

Same here,  absolutely torrential although it stopped for a pink sunrise which I missed.      Took me an hour to queue to the shops in the rain,   something that should take under 10 minutes.

We had the pink sunrise too - but I wasn't quick enough this morning to capture it before the clouds rolled in - and with them, pelting rain.

Or for me a mud out,   the neighbours builder is taking down the rest of the wall the came down in the storms but they didnt dig back the soil it retains first so the mud is just flowing my way.

Hes a cowboy so Im not holding out much luck on that,   Im just hoping the new tuples I just put in survive as they have only just come up.

Tulips even,.   doh.    About 5 packs of them,     which reminds me,  I must look up where the Norfolk tulip fields are.

Used to be massive tulip fields in Spalding (Lincolnshire) - we went there many years ago.
But I think they've changed to potato farming now.

I had a work colleague who built a house opposite the tulip views up there but I can't recall for the life of me the towns name.   Im sure google will find something.

I found one tulip place near kings Lynn,  although they dont announce the location unless you buy tickets.   Sadly its currently flooded and they dont know if they can open this year.

Today's forecast here calls for winds, and more winds.  There is a small windy around mid-afternoon where the winds are predicted to die down enough to maybe get in a short flight.  Going to spend time this morning setting up a new mesh router and then a repeater on the dock so I have good coverage in the nearby storage/garage building.

Good luck with that,  they set something similar up over in the moorings recently and then a few weeks later the local mast installed a new microwave dish and its knocked it out so badly they are digging the grass to install trunking for cabling,   he was not happy when I spoke to him the other day
