I guess I'm just getting impatient for more summer like weather although come July I'll probably be complaining about high 90 degree hot days.  This year's transition from "winter" to Spring has been really wet.  Honestly, we really don't get real winter weather here but mostly Spring and Summer weather so I guess I've been spoiled.

No need to be jealous...at least you get to enjoy all 4 seasons.  I miss that part but I definitely don't miss shoveling snow or driving in it.

There's good and bad to both. You learn to enjoy what you have. It's all good. At least we don't live in Siberia.

Yes. You can't see the nose from here but I believe it is. I would assume it's much more efficient than using ropes to pull it.

I don't think such a system is used in the UK - none of our rivers are long or wide enough to make it viable.

Amen to that.  I have traveled to 65 different countries and I can tell you there are many I'd like to go back to and enjoy and there are 4-5 that I would never go back to and can't erase the negatives in my brain of what I saw there.  We can complain about things here in the US but when you travel as extensively as I have you definitely come back a flag waving American.

Harbors.
I'm not too afraid of flying there and finding the edge of that circle. Maybe even a tad inside. I'm not very worried about danger there.
Just not straight above the industry (unfortunately)
