I am using a Mavic 2 pro with original controller RC1B, a crystal sky, and a Samsung S22 as a hot spot. There is no indication of RID being transmitted on available wifi sites.

Mavic 2 pro   v01.00.0797
RC v01.00.0770
Crystal Sky  v03.00.03.00
DJI GO 4.0  v4.3.60

Anyone with any pointers??

Paul

Hi there, Paul_. It is recommended to test in an open outdoor area with a strong GPS signal and ensure to avoid testing indoors or in a closed space. A weak GPS signal will cause the RID to be unable to broadcast normally. Have a nice day.

I have tried several times, all outdoors and all with strong signals showing 14  satellites. And, the CrystalSky connected to the hot spot. On start up Go 4 is showing, version check, collecting device info, comparing, with server, latest version before go fly.

Using the S22 as a hotspot turns the wifi off. Try checking with the HS off.

Mobilehomer,

Duh      It gives me a warm feeling of encouragement that age has not diminished my ability to misplace my mind.

No response from DJI?????????????

Hi Paul_, we are very sorry for the delayed response. We understand that you already tested in an open outdoor area with a strong GPS signal, and the aircraft firmware has been upgraded to a version that supports FAA Remote ID (Mavic 2: V01.00.0797). If the issue still persists, please collect the following information and send it to us: screenshots of the app (about page) showing the version information, app logs, aircraft logs, and test time. Alternatively, you can contact our DJI support and send the information at https://www.dji.com/global/support?site=brandsite&from=nav for immediate assistance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
