Does anyone know if an internet connection is required for any of the new functions to work?  I'm flying a P3A with a Nexus 7 tablet that has GPS but no internet.  I did a successful POI yesterday but haven't tried Course/Home Lock Waypoints or Follow Me.

As far as I know, only the GPS is necessary on your tablet for the new features.

no interet needed. if u need the map. just cache it at home with internet connection. dont forget if u need internet for any reason u can always make ur phone the hot spot. i dont recommend leaving wifi on anyways while flying for possible interference and signal loss or disconnected errors on ur device
