Thought I would share my first P3 Advanced footage.I'm still getting used to all the settings with the P3A and learning Premier Pro CS6.

Those are some pretty adventurous first flights.
Glad to see that you are not afraid of water, they are IMHO the best shots.
I think that you need to edit them to much shorter clips otherwise you risk boring the viewer..

I've been flying R/C fixed wing and Helicopters for many years and thought I would try my first multi-rotor with the P3A.
As I live very near the coast i'm planning a lot more flights over water soon.
I appreciate the feedback about the editing.
With so much footage I sometimes find it difficult to know what to do with it all.

Well you could always cut some shots together and show them to your family and friends. You will quickly see when they get bored and start to fidget - this will give you a clue as to an appropriate length for each shot. Alternatively, you can set yourself a goal of a 4 min film - choose a piece of music and start cutting down your shots to fit, perhaps changing shot on the main beat, etc. Just as a start - the more you do it the better you will become. Happy flying, shooting, editing, directing, producing, etc.. etc.. etc..

Same thing again Jamie.
40 seconds, for the first shot, then I stopped watching.
The subject matter around Dover was great, but after 60 seconds , if it's not exceptional, then most people are bored.
But keep going.
