Since we can't fly our "toy" in DJI's self mandated no-fly zones, this is the future of the Inspire!

Yeah, but you'd have to fly it manually first every time.

The way I understand it, you can fly your route then save it for
Later on. This would be his case. You save your route then call
It back up and it will fly it. I never save them, as once I take my
Video of what I want I don't need to fly it again.

Yes it is as you said. You can save your way point mission and re-fly it any time.

What a great idea, best leaf bower on the block.
LOL

What a great  ...

I was wondering, can an orbit point of interest mission be saved?  I haven't looked.

We have been having some problems with the forum software. Sometimes it won't let you post or it won't let you quote. Sometimes it will double post your post or even more if you try to post and it does not let you and you hit the "articipation/Reply Topic" button more than once.
I do not think a mod stepped in, I think it was just the software acting up.

Hope you have a great weekend also!

I would really like to know why DJI is doing the job of law enforcement. It's to the FAA or in my case Transport Canada to write the law and to the police to apply it. We have autorisation from Transport Canada all the time in C or D flying zone near airport and I would have to go to a store (they are not official inspector BTW nor represent NavCanada or FAA) and prouve them I have autorisation to get no fly zone disabled ?????   That's crazy.
Cutting any possibility of controlling the UAV from the remote is just dangerous. No computer will ever replace the judgement of a human in a given situation. By trying to implementing avoidance system you are actually increasing danger, because it's impossible for the flight controller to be aware of all the surrounding.  Inspire 1 is advertise as a working professional machine, please consider us as professional an give us the full control of the machine. As professional, we've followed training and learned air space regulation almost like like full licence pilote.
Please let the authorities do their job and concentrate on machine performance and stability.
And BTW I'm not totally agains avoidance system, but they should always be an option, not an obligation.
