First off great site, I check in almost every day, excellent information from all

I would appreciate any help on the following with my Phantom P3 Pro purchased Oct 2015.

Since downloading 1.5.3 FW a few weeks ago my flight simulator does not work properly with the POI or Waypoint features. My be settings ?

When I try to simulate a POI I get : Mission crosses a no fly zone (did not get this in previous rev and live 10+ miles from small local aerodrome)

When I try to simulate Waypoints I get : Failed to start waypoint mission

These features Worked fine with last firmware.

App version is 2.4.2
Aircraft version is 1.5.3
RC version is 1.5.7
Apple app in I pad mini is 9.1 (have not updated newest rev yet)
Multiple flight mode is enabled.

50 + flights with no issues or software update issues..

would greatly appreciate any help on this matter

I have not tried it yet actually flying.
I also deleted and re downloaded the DJI app after the upgrades which all went smoothly and error free.
Very odd, not sure how to proceed.

I tried the simulator on an updated P3 here and I was able to fly into a no fly zone and land and take off again.
When you power everything up with the Phantom outside, do you still get the same error.

I will try it outside with the simulator and see if that makes any difference.

I flew a few flights outside and brought back in and the POI and waypoints still not working in tutorial. same error message
I did not try poi  while flying........ not in a good area today to try this live for the first time.
I noticed am getting a vibration which was not there since the 1.5 fw upgrade.
I think I will  downgrade the aircraft to 1.4 to see if the vibration goes away as some have reported. is it ok to use the current 1.5.7 Firmware on the RC  and continue to use the 2.4.2 app with FW 1.4 on the aircraft??
Procedure  to downgrade from 1.5 to 1.4 ,??.... format the sd card, load 1.4 bin file, insert in the aircraft   and start up , wait till finish ... any tips on this procedure would be greatly appreciated.

I am taking to the Caribbean in a week and don't want any issues

Yes, the RC is fine when you downgrade to 1.4
Do it the same way as you did 1.5
Some people are getting vibrations on 1.5, they are looking into it, I've had my P3 Pro since April and I have not noticed vibrations since updating to 1.5 a few weeks ago.

Yes, I tired uninstalling and reinstalling the app. still got the error message in the flight sim
Yesterday I rolled the FW back to 1.4 and updated to 1.5.clibrated the IMU and gimbal and compass.
Took outside for a short  test, (it was dark) but looked rock solid.
I will continue to test when time permits and report back. I have read that going back to 1.4 then reinstalling 1.5 has solved the vibration issue for a lot of people.
I will try tonight to reinstall the app to see if the flight sim issue gets resolved.

I deleted the dji go app, rebooted IPAD , loaded on DJI App, rebooted and the app is working now.
Raining so cannot test.
Now we have 1.6 ....LOL ,
